Our holiday programme is when the club really bursts into life, no uniform, no homework, just friends, fun, freedom and a vivid imagination!
We design our holiday programme around the children attending the club. We develop a daily programme around their needs and interests.
Each week will have a different theme. This theme is adopted by a different staff member who will plan a range of activities and outings*. Each day contains opportunities for cookery, craft, games, imaginative, child and adult led play.
Your child can choose when and where to join in or they can embark on their own adventure.
Activities in previous holiday weeks have ranged from den building, toasting marshmallows on open fires, trips to the beach, Carnfunnock Country Park, Belfast Zoo, Armagh Planetarium, W5 and a range of play parks and outdoor spaces. We have grown our own vegetables and flowers, baked pancakes, scones and wheaten bread. Made sweet treats such as honeycomb and chocolate cakes. We get creative with a combination of recycled and new craft materials. A wide range of indoor and outdoor equipment is rotated weekly to provide inspiration and encouragement for new play ideas.
