our club

After Schools Club, where children can enjoy fun, friendship and a little homework. We strive to create a space that children love to spend time in.

A ‘home from home’ environment where children can relax and feel comfortable after their day at school.

At After Schools Club, our main objective is to create a fun, yet stimulating environment where your children can continue to develop their social, physical, intellectual and emotional skills. We cater for all age groups and needs. The afternoon routine revolves around the children ensuring that all of their needs are met, whether these are big or small.

SNACKS

Snack is served in the bright and welcoming main room where the children enjoy nutritious food and chat with their friends and playworkers about their day. Each of our six dedicated play areas consist of a fun filled activity . Our homework room is simply laid out so as to provide a calm and relaxing environment with no unnecessary distractions. Homework assignments are completed here (with one-to-one support where needed).

ACTIVITY ROOMS

Our activity rooms are organised into different areas of interest and we regularly update our rooms to reflect the children’s favourite activities. From a dress up area to a dedicated games corner, there is something for everyone at our Club. Our after-school team communicate regularly with the children about their activities and give genuine consideration to their feedback and suggestions. Our aim is to create a space that children love to spend time in.

We open early every morning to allow children to come and enjoy their breakfast with us and their friends. Children have a choice of a range of cereals and breads such as toast, pancakes and muffins. The children are then free to play or curl up in front of the log fire until it is time to go to school. A member of staff will remain with the children until they are safely inside their school building.

afternoon care
2pm - 6pm
Once the school day has finished, children are collected and brought to the club. We provide transportation in the form of our mini bus and people carrier. Children may also walk to the club on occasion with staff members.

Here, they are given an afternoon snack. This varies daily, and a full monthly snack menu can be found on our website. We are more than happy to cater for children with special dietary requirements such as nut allergies, coeliac disease etc.

Children can then go to our designated homework room to complete any homework they may have before joining in with one of our many ongoing activities.

We have an art room for creative activities, a games room with a pool table as well as a main hall for stimulating table top activities and physical play. Our outdoor area is secure for physical and imaginative play with all weather grass and a covered area so we can be outside in all weathers.

Our new building comprises of a sports hall, common room for children in year 6, 7 and 8 and a playroom for imaginative and role play.
